Elizabeth Bierbower and Gaurov Dayal, MD, Join Point32Health Board of Directors
Canton, Mass., June 5, 2024 – Point32Health, the parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, has announced that Elizabeth Bierbower, formerly a member of Humana’s executive management team, and Gaurov Dayal, M.D., CEO of Axia Women’s Health, have joined its board of directors.

Elizabeth Bierbower is a strategic leader with more than 30 years of executive level experience in the health insurance industry. As a member of Humana’s executive management team, Beth served in a number of leadership roles including oversight of Humana’s commercial, TRICARE and specialty segments; chief operating officer of Humana’s specialty benefits; and enterprise vice president leading Humana’s product development and innovation teams. She has also held leadership roles with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Coventry Health Plans in Pittsburgh, PA. She currently serves on the boards of BlueSprig, Quest Analytics, Option Care Health and Paradigm Corp. Beth holds a master’s degree in public management from Carnegie Mellon University where she graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Dayal is an innovative and operationally focused physician leader with two decades of experience in population health and successfully leading and transforming care delivery in multi-site, multi-state, multi-specialty provider groups and health care systems. As the CEO of Axia Women’s Health, he oversees one of the leading women’s health practices in the country focused on delivering personalized health care. He is a recognized leader in value-based care. Prior to his current role, he held executive leadership roles at Everside Health, ChenMed, and SSM Health. He also serves on the board of MDVIP the largest concierge medical practice in the country. Dr. Dayal received his B.A. from John Hopkins University, his M.D. from Northwestern University, and completed residency training in pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis.
