Pete Church is chief people officer at Point32Health. He provides strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of the people organization, including compensation and benefits, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. Pete also helps develop and guide Point32Health’s culture and aligns human resources strategy and governance with business strategy goals and values. He also oversees real estate and workplace services for Point32Health offices.
Pete joins Point32Health from AVANGRID Energy, where he was chief human resources officer. Previously, he held several leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, including chief talent officer of UnitedHealthcare, vice president of Human Capital for Commercial Markets and vice president of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Insights. He also has held senior leadership positions at The Hartford Financial Services Group and Aetna. During his 20 years of human resources experience across diverse business and health care sectors, Pete has designed and implemented HR strategies that positively impact business performance and operating costs while increasing employee engagement and effectiveness.
Pete is a member of the Board of Directors for RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. He holds both a masters and a bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Hartford.
