Point32Health Receives High Ratings for the Quality of its Health Plans
Canton, Mass., September 22, 2021 – Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, both Point32Health companies, today announced their ratings by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) on its annual 2021-2022 rating of private health insurance plans. The ratings are:
- Tufts Health Plan Massachusetts and Rhode Island Commercial HMO/POS/EPO and Massachusetts PPO – 5
- Tufts Health Plan Massachusetts Medicaid plan – 4.5
- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Massachusetts and Maine Commercial HMO/POS and Massachusetts PPO – 4.5
- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care New Hampshire Commercial HMO/POS – 4
- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Connecticut Commercial PPO – 3.5

The NCQA ratings, which rated 567 private commercial plans and 263 Medicaid plans, are based on quality measures from three performance subcategories—consumer experience, prevention, and treatment—and NCQA accreditation.
